PowerCMS Builder breaks page after install to site

I have a unique situation with my site, I have no problem setting up the CMS and getting connected to the database. However after it is all up and running the page gets striped of its css and it breaks the nivo slider function have built into to the site.

I have used the PowerCMS Builder on several of my clients sites and have never had this problem before. Is there something in particular that I need to look for to start the trouble shooting?
