Powerstore 3 not recognizing database

I'm installing a test store on our test site and have ran into problems. The installation is recognized, and I get the checkmarks telling me the modules are all in place. I go to install the database that I created with cpanel, and get the following error message:

ERROR: Could not connect to the MySQL database. Please verify the server, username, and password are correct.

I'm using localhost for the server
wwwghum_my_store for the database
wwwghum_gene for the user
xxxxxxxx for the password.

This same setup works for other databases I've installed on this server.

P.S. The Image verification did not work (didn't even APPEAR) using Firefox 5.0. Problem on my end, or is it not compatible?
