need USPS code advice

James L

need USPS code advice

After much struggle and help from WA, my eCart store is good to go, EXCEPT for sending the right weight info to USPS. I've struggled with Weight and TotalWeight sending wacky numbers (i.e. "1.5" in database for Weight shows up as "9.99").

I can use "Quantity+1" to create "boxWeight" which is fine for Priority Mail because the amounts are always rounded up to whole pounds. But I don't know how to send this number to the WA_eCart_USPS_PHP.php code. If you can guide me through this I'd at least have Priority Mail quotes working.

However, my client is concerned about foreign orders which use USPS First Class International which is based on ounces and in this case I'd want to use the actual weight of the item rather than round up to save on shipping (ie, instead of "1.5 lbs" being rounded up to "2 lbs", it should be "24 ounces". I think using ounces would also work for PriorityMail as the USPS would do it's own rounding up.

Help with this code would be most appreciated, as it's the very last thing to be done (I hope...)
