Instructions needed for adding File upload field

I have modified the basic form from the CF solution pack and all works fine but am having difficulty adding a file upload field. I understand the best way to accomplish this is by using a combination of Digital File Pro and Universal email, but are there any clear instruction on how to do this easily?

I've followed what instructions I've found and added the file upload field and applied the digital file pro upload behavior, but I'm not seeing any of the options mentioned when I open the Universal email server behaviors. No 'enter value lighting bolt' under the attachments tab etc., just a blank field which is greyed out and can't be filled in?

Are there clearer instructions specific to the CF Solution Pack or do I need to recreate my form using DFP and U email? please advise.

Thanks
