Pass data between dataassist created pages

Pass data between dataassist created pages

Hi all,

I have used datassist twice to create the following sets of pages from two tables in my database.

Organisers (Insert, Search, Update, Details, Delete)
Events (Insert, Search, Update, Details, Delete)

(In case of any forseeable probs, I created the above in Dataassist 2.07, but have since upgraded to 2.08.)

What I would like to do is add a link on the `organisers details` page that opens the `events insert` page and prepopulates the relevant data (e.g. OrgID, FName, Surname, Location) into the form, so I only have to manually add event details.

What would be the best (and simplest) way of doing this? (Please provide a step by step, as I'm still learning)

Thank you in advance.

David
