In group? Confusing ...

How is the compare to function "In group" in the edit access rule meant to be handled? Against which value do I have to compare it?

I want a member with AccessLevel = 3 be a administrator and being redirected to the admin folder after login.

So I create a session at the login and place the Administrator rule:

Allow: Value: <?php echo $_SESSION['ALID']; ?> Criteria: = Compare to: 3

(I guess that the entered value of 3 is not correct, I'd need to compare to the database field value, but I'm getting an error when trying to select anything, see corresponding thread.)

On the Access Pages Manager I select the index.php file in the admin folder (selecting the folder itself is not working, see corresponding thread) and choose grant access if Administrator rule.

If I do understand it right then a user with Access Level = 3 should be granted access to the files within the admin folder. Is this correct?

Actually it's not working, I do not get granted access for memners with access Level = 3...

Do I need the Access Groups Manager for this at all?
