Captcha problems

Captcha problems

Having lots of problems with this extension;

I have added Catcha to an existing form (which has spry validations on it, if that makes a difference). I have also tried adding the validation to the Captcha field and a 'show if' validation.

What happens:

1) The 'characters don't match' message is displayed when the form first shows (this is the 'validation fails' message that should only appear if Captcha text is wrong.

2) If the characters are correctly entered (despite the above message), the email is sent

3) If the characters are incorrect, the email is not sent - but there is no indication that anything is wrong.

Why do these extensions never do what they say they will without a lot of grief?
