Built in themes editor

Hi
Installed 4.5 no problems so far..

When trying to edit colurs using the theme editopr (built in) I save as a new theme a couple of permissions probs (755) did the trick.

The new theme preview is black and white and no matter what I change nothing is saved and the theme looks like the theme i edited in the first place.

Ie if I edit the purple one the new them although the tumbnail looks B&W the store is the same as the original purple one.

Go back in and any changes I made a re gone and its back to the originals colours etc..

Any ideas if there are more permissions etc or is there something else wrong?

Thanks

Mike

OK tried changing the permissions on the /webassist and all its subs to 755 this did not work I then did the fix for permisssions this did not help either so I tried an extreme test of changing ALL files and folders including /webassist to 755 this allowed the editor to work almost perfectly except that the thumbnail of the new theme always seems to be black and white (is this correct?)

I am assuming from the xtreme test that there a re file/s that require their permissions changing to 755 but I would appreciate from WA a little guidence to which ones as after wasting a weekend trying to get this to work I am now frustrated.

Other than that a great update to PS and once working should make a really food addition.

Thanks

Mike
