Hiya John,

I have shared many such frustrations in the past and to be fair, many of them were caused not just by my own lack of understanding, but also by occcasional lacking or ambiguous documentation which can leave one groping about in the dark a bit.

I think the problems you have been experiencing have arisen because there have been several attempts made to get the exact menu (structure & design) that you need for your site to be navigable the way you want it, and that rather than the same menu (cssmw0) being edited each time, CSSMenuWriter has created a completely new menu (i.e. cssmw1, cssmw2, cssmw3 etc) each with its own new ID and its own new set of folders and css and js files.

You can see which .css and .js folder and files are needed (being referenced by your page) by checking the ID of the menu on your page or page template.

For your current page and menu, you will see the line:

<ul class="level-0" id="cssmw10">

at the beginning of your menu code. This tells us that only the folder and files for cssmw10 are required, and that only changes to these should be necessary to change the design or behaviour of your menu.

Unfortunately, references to previous versions of the menu and required files are often left in the Head area of your page code; for instance, in the code currently showing for your current working menu, the references (marked in red) are remnants left over from previous menu configurations, and can safely be deleted from the page code:

This also means that the only folder needed inside your CSSMenuWriter folder would be the cssmw10 folder, - any others can be safely removed.
