Continue Shopping Button redirecting

I have two problems with ecart witch I can not solve myself, so please could someone help me.

1.
My products and cart are on the same page, but different tabs. I have four tabs, three for different product categories and on the last one is cart. Each tab has an ID.

I would like to achive, when customer clicks on Continue Shopping button, that is redirect to tab from which he came (the same action if he would click on browsers back button).

2.
How could I format numbers in quantity field like this 1.000, 1.000.000 etc.?
Now they are just plain numbers without formating (100000).

Thank you.
