How to do multiple checkboxes with different database tables in search wizard.

How to do multiple checkboxes with different database tables in search wizard.

I have a somewhat complicated feature for my search form that I need to get to work. I have a database table called "listings", inside that database table are rows for: area1, area2, area3, etc. Those are set to be a tinyint either 0 or 1.

What i'm trying to achieve is basically a map that has a bunch of checkboxes on it (area1, area2, area3 etc.). I want the user to be able to check area1 AND area2 AND area3 and search for properties that have a value of "1" for that area.

Right now I have the search form set up but it doesn't work right. I have a checkbox for each area and i have Search Wizard set up but it must be something i need to do manually i just can't conceptualize how.

Ideally, the user would go onto the site, look at the map filled with checkboxes, check as many as they wanted and all the properties that were in ANY of the selected checkboxes would show up.

Any ideas?
