Thanks for your reply! Your extension spits pre-made code on a couple of web pages with record-sets and user-made-forms which you can direct/connect to each other. So to compare it with a hammer?! I don't know about that. It already has a certain structure the outcome of the extension.
The Blue Sky tutorial is not what I'm looking for. I want a simple login registration and admin system.
I made the database. The Security Assist Login all works. Made the Data Assist Administrative pages all works perfect.
All I want to know now ( if possible with step by step instructions) is how to create the users authenticate levels and the web pages to make it all work.
Only for Administrator and users. Like your own login system. Preferable not with radio buttons or a drop-down menu saying administrator or user.
At the beginning of this topic is the description of the database so please use that database for the instructions.
In the BlueSky tutorial I see all kinds of pages with links I don't have, that doesn't make it very clear.
I work with the complete! Adobe, Waves and Steinberg software collection without any problem. The only problem I have is with WA extensions and the documentation. What seems clear for you doesn't have to ring a bell in my head.
The Web Assist software is brilliant when you discover how it works (I have the Super Suite not because the extensions sucks, but because I like them!), but the documentation is unclear, autistic, humourless.
Normally you take a simple subject for a tutorial (like a simple login system) not something like the Blue Sky to make people understand how it works. And then when they want to add more features they ask questions, but WA takes the opposite approach. So anyone looking for the most basic instructions gets stuck very soon.
I see numerous complains about this on the WA forum and nothing changes!
