Testing Server Issues-404 Error Message?

Thread began 1/17/2011 11:55 am by sadie406824 | Last modified 1/21/2011 2:59 pm by sadie406824 | 1290 views | 6 replies

I keep forgetting to post back to this - The problem wasn't as easy as just checking out the ports.

I checked out the error log and found a few things in my console that pointed me to the same place; it was the httpd.conf file had changed values on line 368.

I went to Applications/MAMP/Conf/Apache/httpd.conf it was set to the root folder instead of the directory Applications/MAMP/htdocs/ it was Applications/MAMP/htdocs/theNameOfMyTestingServer - This was the root folder, not the directory for htdocs.

I don't know how this happen but here is the fix for all of you fine MAC folks out there :)
