php5.ini

question - no re-boot necessary per godaddy. ini files changes are instant for godaddy.com. godaddy questions the name of the php file from php.ini to php5.ini. Does this sound correct? I re-named the php.ini file php5.ini and removed the php.ini file from my server - it did not help. Any suggestions? Just an fyi, my login was working before we made some of the previous changes.

Another note - I tried to follow the link from the confirmation e-mail (registration) and the link is broken to the users_profile.php page. Is this related to my problem?

I tried to login with a user and password I created and here is the page that I am diverted to:

"Not Found
The requested URL /users_LogIn.php was not found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Apache/1.3.33 Server at segalmediaproductions.com Port 80"

I made another attempt with another user name and password and I was taken to the login page - blank form fields
I went back to the first user name and password and this time I was taken to the correct profile page - in other words, this time it worked.

What is happening?
