installed.png isn't an image file, it is inherently a php file that uses cURL to verify and activate your gallery serial number on the WebAssist servers.

Perhaps trying to open it in an image editing program to test it out is what is corrupting it. Have you tried just uploading a clean copy without first trying to open it in an image editing proggie? Does your remote host have cURL installed in its PHP setup?

I only tried to open it when I was trying to replace the existing one. I would image that it does have cURL installed because if you see from the beginning of my post, it was working perfectly. I have been trying to solve this problem since last Friday. We are a rescue group for animals and that is what this gallery is used for. I see that someone else had the same problem. I will double check the cURL but I am sure it is fine as it was working. This gallery is nothing like the easy to use thing that it is advertised as. Further to that, our log in was not recognised last Friday and the 'lost password' feature did not work at all. Then, it did not recognise our email address. There seems to be a lot wrong on your end and yet you just send this problem back to something we are doing wrong. It was working just fine and then all these errors. Meantime, we cant use it at all.
