Problems Installing Power Store 4.01

I am trying to install the Power Store for a client. I am installing into a subdirectory from the root of the domain.

I got through the Wizard up to putting in the database info. The next screen came up blank, page 4.php. I tried a refresh and nothing. I checked the database and 19 tables were created.

I tried a complete clean re-install. Deleted all the old files, cleared out the database tables, unzipped the download, and reuploaded the whole thing again. The install Wizard went through the checks, etc., put in the database info, then same thing, the next screen is blank, page 4.php. Again I checked the database and again 19 tables were created. I checked the source code of the page 4.php and it is blank, no code at all.
