Accessing Password Protected Folders

Security Assist

It would be extemely helpful, if you would give me the pages that need modification in reference to the Secutiry Assist functions. I have created a test page for the User Log-in and have applied the settings using Access Rules for the 5 different access levels. It appears that the Administrator Rules were already applied, so I have just added these.

I assume that the second page would be the profile page and adding the code that you sent me above. I am not sure how this works, but would think from what you said above that once a person logs into the site after registration, that log-in page would use the profile page to take that person to the protected folder on the site that has been set for that person in the database. Aside from making the changes on this page for adding the extra two fields, are these the only two modifications that I need to make on this page?

Are these two pages the only ones that need modification? I did not add a field on the registration page for user level as this will be hidden and controled by assigning this after the fact in the admin section.

The Security Assist tutorial is a little difficult to follow when applying the funtiionality to this solution pack.

Believe me, I am following your sage advise for making these changes! It has taken me a good bit of time to modify a number of the pages required to add the two custom fields for adding Company to the registration form and all the other pages in the Admin section for adding the User Level where required and updating the database.

Using the Dynamic connection made it simple and to some degree I am glad that I was forced to basically start all over with the basic non-modified pages. I was able to use those described above where I had already done the modifications in terms of adding fields to those pages.

I haven't done any testing yet as I want to complete these modifications to all pages required before I do.
