Jason ByrnesWebAssist

your checkout form is still based on the information in the old eCommerce recipes.

You need to start this process over, because the instructions I gave initially are to be used in place of the eCommerce recipes.

My initial instructions where based on the idea of using the default state list that the eCart wizard creates which passes the states 2 letter code:
<option value="ca">California</option>

tax rate table:
taxID - Primary Key
taxState - Text store 2 letter state code

same for shipping:
shippingID- Primary Key
shippingState - 2 letter state code

you than create recordsets to filter the state column on the 2 letter code passed by the state list.

and store those values in session variables.

your checkout is not set up to work this way.

the state list is passing a number value.
<option value="1">CA</option>

like I said in my previous response, my instructions where not intended to be used along side the eCommerce recipe instruction, they where intended to be used in place of them.
