Target?

If you do want to quickly update/add targets to your menu.php page, probably the easiest way to do this would be to use the 'Specific Tag' search option in a (Dreamweaver's) 'Find and Replace' action on the menu.php file.

Find in: Current Document
Search: Specific Tag > a
(Click the minus button to remove the Filter row)
Action: Set Attribute > target > (to) > _blank (or whatever target you want. Repeat for each target type)

Click 'Find Next', and if it is a link you want to add the target to, click 'Replace', otherwise continue clicking 'Next'.

Therefore:

<a href="somepage.php" >SomePage</a>

becomes:

<a href="somepage.php" target="_blank">SomePage</a>

This is useful if you have many links to sort through.
