Paypal systems

I have a standard paypal account. I have set up ecart 5, about 8 times today and am getting close. I'm confused about a standard PP account and a pro. If someone has time to check these lines and tell me if I've done it correctly I'd appreciate it. When I try to run a test, paypal tells me I can't log into my own account.

$WA_PP_ECO_Set_params[0] = array();
$WA_PP_ECO_Set_params[1] = array();
$nextIndex = count($WA_PP_ECO_Set_params[0]);
$WA_PP_ECO_Set_params[0][$nextIndex] = "Username";
$WA_PP_ECO_Set_params[1][$nextIndex] = "(I deleted for security for this posting only)";

I created an API but not sure it is really needed with standard web account. Any help, most appreciated.

Thanks
