I called back this time with just the blank page (thanks Neilo, your php skills are officially .00001:)
Thanks James for sticking with it and being so quick and precise in your answers.

So anyway, I called back. I did not mention I have any code written, I showed him the blank page + error messages. He couldn't figure out what it was but after some help from others, he fixed it!
He had to create another directory and set permissions on it.

And I reported the other rather nasty person...

Hopefully you guys won't hear from me in a long long time (until I get the next product :)
