power cms not functioning well after server change

My site was changed to an alternative server.... the website url is:

Now....can't upload images or files (ie pdfs) - says they've been uploaded successfully, however they're not there

Under the "settings" tab it says that the "uploaded image folder" is:


When I go to "insert an image" and I choose to browse the SERVER for that image.....I get the following error:

There are errors in your configuration or server. If the messages below describe missing variables, please check the supplied configuration.php.dist for notes on their usage.

KFM does not work if you have safe_mode enabled. This is not a bug - please see's safe_mode page for details


Please advise keeping in mind that I am not as technically advanced as some of the other users in your forum.....;) but I need help on this.
