Search multiple fields

Thread began 7/26/2010 2:00 pm by robcorrick409194 | Last modified 8/05/2010 2:34 pm by robcorrick409194 | 1740 views | 19 replies

Jason, I greatly appreciate your change. I now have search results. However, the search picks up only three out of seven test records. In other words, in users_Search2.php, I search with no search parameters entered, and I get only three records even though there are 7 in the database. In users_Search.php, where I have not added a new search field (other than the Wizard fields) the search picks up all 7 records. Remember that in the latter case there is no change to the WA original coding. The former case just adds the simple test key word search.

FYI I took out "<?php echo("SQL: ".$query_limit_WADAusers."<br />"); ?>" from users_Results. It changed the users_Results page yielding blank search results, but it did not cause a problem with users_Results2, so I left it it in this latter page in case you want to use it.

I hope that there is a solution for this. All I am really intending to do is to introduce a few key word searches in order to make a simpler search function. I would think that this is a common problem with your database users.

Thanks again for your time.
