moving variable into cart

Thread began 7/21/2010 9:46 am by watercolor346374 | Last modified 9/04/2012 9:21 am by watercolor346374 | 2150 views | 25 replies

passing variables to the cart

Hi Jason,
I did get one thing to work...the item number is now posting to the cart I used the rsInventory It uses the db table inventory and filters the prodid. I added the paramProd, numeric,-1, $_POST['winkee_1_Tab_Add'] (this is how the tab is coded). Now the item number posts, but the bo message is backwards: if I add to cart a short tab that is on backorder, I get no message, if I order the same product in a long tab, I get the short tab backorder msg. If both items have a bo message, they are reversed in the cart. The backordermsg is on the same line in the inventory table as the item number, so why would this be occuring? I will upload it to the test site so if you want to see it you can:
$ATC_itemBO = "".$row_rsInventory['backordermsg'] ."";// column binding
$ATC_itemSKU = "".$row_rsInventory['item_num'] ."";// column binding

If you go to the test site, I am noticing that the bo message does not show in the cart, but it shows on my local host...very strange.
Thank you
