Error: onClick error in waiz_validator.htm

I have recently purchased the HLML Validator and have the same error as others in certain situations.
* If it is a standard HTML site it works OK

Some of my sites are PHP and are "served" sites from a "testing server" on my computer. Within these sites are a mix of PHP and HTML pages. When I try to validate a HTML page I too get the error "onClick error in waiz_validator.htm"

Question:
* Why will it not validate the HTML pages that have a HTML extension within this served site?

I have tried an experiment of copying a PHP site from the "testing server" and creating a standard site (not requiring a "testing server") and I can validate the HTML and PHP pages.

Any suggestions?

PS I am using WinXP Pro (Sp3), IE7, Firefox 3.5, Dreamweaver CS3
