UPS Shipping is based on the Weight of the package as well as the package size.

make sure that all of your items have a value for the weight in the add to cart button.  

Yes, I just tried it with one item that has a weight of 41 lbs. It is 41.00 in the ItemWeight field. I assume that is correct. The length is 81, so I assume that is translated as 81 inches? Does the package size if you don't use large default to total inches (hxwxd)?
Anyway, same error.
