Hi Robert - so sorry I didn't get the simple step-by-step to you. I have been under the weather and absent for a while. Big apologies.

I have the guide here (it does go on a bit, - it takes longer to read the pdf than it does to finish adding styles, I didn't want to miss anything out. If you still want a copy, please could you email me [ neil(at)yeractual(dot)com ] or via the 'Contact' button at the top of the Demo CMS Pages and I will send you a download link.

The process is easier with HtmlEditor, but it can also be done if you don't have any version of HTMLEditor or iRite at all (although I haven't mentioned that in the PDF Guide).

I expect you may have sorted it out by now anyway, but if not, get in touch.

'Ere Neil,

What's all this then?

The CSS styles feature in PowerCMS 2 is the same as it was in PowerCMS 1. We are trying to work out a solution where you could reference your website's style sheet to have all the styles available in the HTML Editor, as well as applied to the content when displayed in PowerCMS.

Unfortunately, the fckeditor which our HTML Editor relies on doesn't accommodate for CSS style sheets in a way that would make this implementation very easy - but we are considering ways to handle this in the future.

  Neilo,

Yes, you should be able to reenter the HTML Editor instances in PowerCMS in HTML Editor to include your own style sheet. This will allow you to include the various classes you want from the Styles menu in the toolbar.

However, this will not change how the content appears when viewed in PowerCMS.

Robert,

This is currently just a feature request and something we are looking at handling in a future version of PowerCMS. We have no timeline on when that might be. Sorry.

-Neil

Styles can easily be applied AND change how the content appears when viewed in PowerCMS (Home Page, Edit/Update, Create New etc)

Give us a shout or send me an email if you'd like me to open a neilo support ticket for you!

(There are some Screen-shots of examples at here. I could send you a guest CMS log-in if it helps.
