It's a deal killer for me too...

I'm a long time WebAssist customer & have owned the SuperSuite like forever through many versions (just happily paid another few hundred bucks for the latest upgrades)... Was looking at Power CMS for a non-profit client (I don't get paid, so nice if they could do their own updates). I was ready to upgrade to the whole Solution Suite actually... figured I could then use the programs for pay clients & recoup...

Unlike some I got lucky & saw the licensing & this thread first... and yeah, it's a deal killer. Here on my little island a lot of the sites I develop I only get $300-$400 for the whole site development -- can't add $79 or $99 (or $200 or $300 if I use more than one solution) per site & still keep the clients or make any money at all...

It's sad... it looks spiffy... guess I'm over to SiteGrinder or some other CMS solution <sigh> -- I'd love reasonable site license prices if WebAssist wants to go that way... Seems some sales would be better than no sales for them... at least those sales that they've lost from those of us who read the licensing, whether or not we write on the forum.
