universal e-mail not responding

i have created new custom form using CSS form builder for submission and i am trying to submit those forms using universal mail but this is the error that i am getting on php error log:

[21-Apr-2010 15:06:34] PHP Warning: preg_match() [<a href='plugins/function.preg-match'>function.preg-match</a>]: Unknown modifier '(' in C:\Inetpub\\site\\WA_ValidationToolkit\WAVT_Scripts_PHP.php on line 206

this is what i have in line 206 on WAVT_Scripts_PHP.php

if (preg_match("/".$dateFormatStr."/i", $value)==0) {

The temp link to check out the test form is mail.php

If i use the regular contact form i do receive mail, so i know that the mail part is set up properly but i do not know what am i doing wrong over here.
