Copy site and database schema to another

I was wondering if anyone at WA or within the community have ever done this before.

Basically I have my site setup within dreamweaver connecting to my remote myssql database.

I want to use all the same layout of the site all the pages i have generated with WA extensions and take an sql dump file and create a new database in phpmyadmin and have the site connect to it?

not sure if i am explaining this properly.

I have just now say which connects to mysql database called database1

i want to copy all the site files exactly the same as the above with a new database but same setup with tables so the pages i created with webassist extesions work.

so the new site would be say with database = database2

how easy is it to copy all this in dreamweaver so that the files all link to the new database?

is it a case of copying alll to the new site folder on web host and changing the includes connection file to the new database details?

or do i copy it to a new folde rlocally on my machine, open up one of the pages and create a new site and database connection and will dreamweaver automatically update all the connections to the new database?

hope someone can help,

many thanks
