You would need to apply this client validation to the page manually after the form is created. Once you have the form on the page you would first select the checkbox that you would like to trigger the hiding or showing. Next go to Tag > Behaviors > WA Validation Toolkit > Show/Hide layer.

This is how you would apply the show hide validation to the element. Before you do this though you need to make sure that you have the required validation applied to the checkbox, this required validation is what will be used to trigger the show/hide behavior.

hi eric i am having problems adding the show if, i clicked on the check box went to web assist client validation and set it to required.

now the javascript it has put in my page shows done but with errors stating object expected in the error.

when i highlight my div with the second part of the form in it and click WA Validation Toolkit all i have is server validation or validaion show if and when i click validation show if it is just a page asking for redirect page up top then two blank boxes below. i have css form builder installed??

can you help?

many thanks
