mr hankey

hi ray i was wondering if you or anyone from WA could help, i now have this query:

SELECT c.*, count(distinct i.GeneralInsuranceID) generalInsurance, count(distinct p.ProtectionID) protection, count(distinct m.MortgageID) mortgage, count(distinct b.BuyToLetID) buytolet, count(distinct o.OverseasID) overseas
FROM clients c left join generalinsurance i on c.clientId = i.clients_ClientId left join protection p on c.clientId = p.clients_ClientId left join mortgage m on c.clientId = m.clients_ClientId left join buytolet b on c.clientId = b.clients_ClientId left join overseas o on c.clientId = o.clients_ClientId
GROUP BY c.ClientId
HAVING generalInsurance = 0 or protection = 0 or mortgage = 0 or buytolet = 0 or overseas = 0

which shows 0 they do not have, however i want to be able to use Data assist search on the clients and instead of having a 0 value i have now added a column into the database which is:

ProtectionSold "Enum" value "Yes", "No"

i want to be able to use a drop down option in my data assist search that has Protection sold: Yes or No and then queries the database.

could you help me impliment the new column instead of the count on the above?

i want to have the recordset like above with users, clients and the products tables but include the enum column so i can do an advanced search on database.

hope you can help.

thanks again guys
