Early adopters

I find this process frustrating and really makes me think that these products are half baked. "No coding needed"... Try again.

Getting PowerStore and PowerGalley to a go-live state is a lot more work that I ever assumed .

I Concur!.. We are lead to believe by all of the pretty sales patter and videos that this is something that your grandma could do..

When in reality it's something that is (in many cases) actually quite difficult..

You guys need to be a lot clearer in your documentation... I understand that if you were to make a video that detailed what you really have to do then you'd scare people off and you'd never sell any product, but if you need to dumb it down in your marketing literature then you really need to make sure that you've got the technical literature to go with it!..

In fact to paraphrase another of my threads:

"Without clear and concise technical instructions you're just driving us all to these forums which is wasting our time and your time, when all you have to do is update your info to be clearer, Which would leave you more time perhaps to deal with other problems"..

You need to be aware that your not selling your products to top end bespoke web developers, we don't have all of the technical and coding knowledge required (although most of us are pretty competent) which is why we're buying your products in the first place!!..

However, to play Devils advocate to my own case,

I am incredibly impressed with the amount of development that you do on your products, including new releases and product updates, and understand that if we (the consumers of your products) what to be "Early adopters" of your products then we need to be prepared to face teething problems...

However, I much rather wait a couple of extra weeks for the release of a new product (Powerstore 4 for example!) than have to spend two weeks on these forums complaining that your products don't have the correct, clear and concise technical "walk throughs" to enable us to implement your products without having to keep badgering you like a bunch of kindergarden kids!!!

To summarize:

For god sake, pleeeeease update you technical literature, then we'll stop bothering you with mundane technical knowledge questions!!! lol!.. :-)

As described in the post above I'm am now in exactly the same position as Emmanuel...

What do we need to do to resolve this problem?...
