Can you add extra Product Detail images in PowerStore?

Thread began 3/09/2010 3:33 pm by keithlogan347721 | Last modified 4/10/2010 11:43 am by keithlogan347721 | 4320 views | 33 replies

neilo

Ditto here.

Perhaps you can help out with the procedure a bit more - sorry to be dense about this.

I have followed the instructions as best I can!

I assumed that the change to the page code would best be put on the Products_Detail.php page, so I changed the existing line:

<div id="ProductLongDesc"><?php echo $row_WADAProducts["ProductLongDesc"]; ?></div>

to:

<div id="ProductLongDesc">
<?php require_once('wa_evaluate.php'); ?>
<?php echo wa_evaluate($row_WADAProducts["ProductLongDesc"]); ?>
</div>

having added the 'wa_evaluate.php' file to the same directory as the 'Products_Detail.php' page.

I then added the code produced by the addtosite.php (from the Powerstore section, and is the same code that it produced before):

<input type="hidden" name="powergallery" id="1" theme="light" value="/home/users/uks66722/html/206bones.co.uk/store/gallery/galleries/ribbon_lightbox_powerstore/index.php" />

Being a fairly literal person, I went through the process of adding the code through phpMyAdmin to the PowerStore Database (ps3_products. ProductLongDesc field) though I don't understand why this is any different from just adding it in source view to the Long Description field in the product update screen for that product in PowerStore Admin. It would just put it in the right place in the database anyway.

With eveything done according to (a possible misinterpretation of) the instructions, I can now see what I believe to be the top edge of the gallery showing in the product detail page, but am now getting an error. This is it!.

Any pointers on how I have managed to cock this up without using the words 'mephedrone' or 'IQ' would be appreciated.

I checked for white space around the php tags, but found none.
