It will be accomplished in stages. Some things may be done with updates and others with upgrades. Most of the actual combinations of tools will come with other features.
For instance, notice we have released Universal Email 4, which includes Digital File Pro and progress bars in a single product. Digital File Pro is no longer sold separately and is included in Universal Email 4. The upgrade cost to you is not pre-determined. We will adjust the charge enough to cover our development costs which we will carefully track throughout the process. This should be mostly accomplished within a year.
This price will change based upon our actual development costs and release shedules, but either way the library is a fixed cost that should be in your best interest to join. I would suggest getting on the extension library program. It will cost you less if you plan on staying current through the evolution of our tools and includes all of our tools. Ultimately we have plans for many years of work that we can do in terms of documentation, extension, and solutions. Your feedback and purchases determine the priority we assign to each task, so participate here.
If you want, wait until the first big update you want to purchase comes out, then join the extension library at that time. The library should more than pay for itself in this case, and will give you all of the products and could bring ultimately bring the cost down for others in the long term (some people don't like that part).
