How to add UPS shipping?

You can make the shipping charge rule a flat rate based on a particular value, like PO BOX or something like that.

You will need to first determine how you would like to trigger the alternative charge rule, then craft the rule and amount for the charge.

One way I can see you doing something like this would be to add a checkbox to the shipping information portion of the checkout form. In here you can just give it a label like 'check here if sending to a PO BOX or APO/FPO' and set the value. Next you would need to add a set session value server behavior to your confirm page based on this checkbox, you can set the value to the value of the checkbox.

Lastly you would then go into the shipping tab of the cart object and setup a new shipping charge rule. In here you would base the trigger on 'if session variable exists' and also based on the value of the session variable, then enter the name of your session variable you added to the confirm page. For the charge portion you can just set it to flat rate and enter an amount.

There is one more part to this that will need to be edited to make sure that you do not have the regular shipping and this other flat rate at the same time. You will need to edit the trigger for shipping quote server behavior you are using. It will need to take into account the new session variable and ensure that it is not set, the updated trigger might look like this:

if (($WAGLOBAL_Shipping_Enabled != "0") && (isset($_SESSION['pobox'])?$_SESSION['pobox']:"" != 1)) {

This is saying if you have shipping enabled and the session variable 'pobox' is set and not equal to 1 then do the regular ups shipping. This is assuming that the name of your session variable is pobox and the value you are setting it to is 1.
