  Hi esms,

The previous advice was specifically to enable installing on local testing server where a password hadn't been set for mysql root user.

As for the remote web hosting, I'll leave it to someone else to say which is the best 1&1 package, as I personally wouldn't go with them!

Hi Neilo,

Cheers - I realise the info you kindly took the time to post was related to a local server. And, again, cheers for the time and help. But, I thought this program would simply run via the 'Simple Installation Wizard' - how wrong was I?

So, as a consequence, I thought I'd go for the only WA recommended way to get it to run - i.e. by signing up to their partener, 1+1. But I need to know which hosting package to use to make it work without a problem.

So, here goes !!!
