Problem getting PS3 and XAMPP working

Thread began 2/23/2010 11:36 am by mrs | Last modified 2/24/2010 1:42 pm by mrs | 2861 views | 13 replies

OK, so what about the database. I have installed with a fresh database that has no info within it, so, what I am doing is performing a restore within MySQL administrator taking the previous PS3 database I had with my products etc in it. This is enabling me to add content to my db, but in the same restore, it is also changing a piece of code somewhere that is breaking the css menu.

So, on this basis, I assume that I can't make changes to my local version of my database and then expect to be able to upload it to my remote database because something within it isn't going to match my local server directory path... am I right?

I think it is something in the database that correlates to the css menu that seems to be breaking the site anyway, I might be wrong. Are there paths in the database?
