Power Store 3 and Local testing server

From downloaded PS3 into DW CS4 using Mac then to 1&1 server

I have read that it is advisable to put PowerStore 3 into Dreamweaver if you ever anticipate using any of the many extensions that WebAssist offers. So, my question: What is the most easily understood direct method for installing my downloaded PowerStore 3 into my Dreamweaver CS4 and then uploading it into my remote server (1&1) using a Mac (snow leopard) so that I can then use PowerStore's "simple and straightforward Installation Wizard" to get started. Hopefully, then all I "have to do is set it up, add products, and start selling!" I have installed MAMP and checked that cURL is enabled. I have set-up my FTP with 1&1 and it is working perfectly. I am a newbie, let me repeat "I AM A NEWBIE" - so, please walk me through this process in very, very simple terms. I will save my next questions once I understand this specific process. The big picture I am beginning to see concerning WebAssist products reminds me of the old question: How do you eat an elephant? Answer: One bite at a time!

Side note: I have read yogastudents362523 posts concerning WebAssist marketing and I too am disappointed that sales makes out this process is like falling off a log. There is more to this then "...set it up, add products, and start selling!" In advance, thank you very much for your help! And as you will soon learn, I will need all I can get :(
