Add the Item # to Products_Detail.php page

Thread began 2/04/2010 3:26 pm by paul.urgero235355 | Last modified 9/22/2010 11:58 am by paul.urgero235355 | 1676 views | 16 replies

That was brilliant! It worked. Everyone else basically told me I had to get custom programming to get something as (what I thought), should have been so simple.

Let me ask you another question then. On the product_detail page, I have added the code below the options drop-down menu, to show the item number. It works fine for the base item. But when I have a product with options, the options change the item number, but the new number is not showing. For example, a 3oz bottle could be item #: 100...but a 6oz bottle of the same thing is item #102. When you select the option for the 6oz bottle, it still shows the item # for the 3oz. Do I have to have custom programming to have the number change?

It seems that if the software gives you the options, then it should be able to change the item number too.

Any thoughts?

Thanks again!
