Is there a tutorial for validating a user in order to send them their password?

Stevebo

You are right, I did ask your opinion on what I was doing and you answered it. My original quest was "I found a post by Walikan regarding something I'm interested in doing. However, I don't know much about the background of the steps to do what he did." I was wondering if there was a tutorial to show how to do it that way and the tools that would be needed.

The answer is no, there isn't a tutorial to do it exactly the way Walikan and I were describing. Web Assist does supply the tools though to do pretty much whatever I want to do. Now I get it. Your recommendation for using one page is one way of doing it and now that is clear. It wasn't what I wanted to do, but I get your point about doing it the way you suggest.

Sorry that I've consumed as much space as I have going back and forth. I kept thinking that you were trying to address what I was trying to do (but there was some confusion on my part) when you were actually describing an alternative that met different requirements(which is not what I wanted to do). That's where my confusion came in.

Thanks for sticking with me on this Jason. Hopefully others will at least find value in the posts since you covered quite a bit of the subject area.

Thanks again,

Steve
