re: problem viewing in Chrome

Hi-- I'm having the same time viewing images w/Chrome. I don't think it's my motherboard...& I've got a Dell Studio. I think it's some missing Java plug-in, but I can't find which one. The photos I'm having trouble seeing are on a shopping website (jcrew, snazzy!); for me the problem is also related to a mouse-over issue, as if I mouse-over a corner of the image, it appears, but then I mouse to the center of the image, and it's just that tiny broken rectangle indicating the image's not there. And the images view just fine in ff & on my husband's computer. I've been searching, and this is the first forum where I've found another instance of this particular glitch---
