images question in DW

I know this isn't related to WA products, but hopefully someone will know how to do this. I have a buttload (technical term) of images in my root folder. I know I can go into my assets tab to preview, but that would take forever to find the one I want. When I double click on the image in my files tab, photoshop or fireworks always opens up...taking forever. Is here a way I can set something so the IE is my default way to get a quick preview of the image I click on? Usually thats all I make sure it is the correct image b4 I place it. Thanks all
