Help with querying a mySQL/PHP database using a List/menu pulldown.

Can someone point me in the right direction on how to do this.

I have a couple of Tables, one with Car manufacturers, the other with car models.

I want to be able to use a pull down menu to select the manufacturer and once selected, I'd like a query to be sent to the database pulling only data which matches the manufacturer I've selected. If that makes sense.

The pull down is already in a state where it is populated with the manufacturers. Each manufacturer has a unique key i.e.

Alfa Romeo = 1
Audi = 2

Any online resource would be very helpful.

Thanks in anticipation.
