How does Universal Email handle multi-lingual websites?

I think that I follow with what you are saying. If the email will handle the language automatically then you should just need to pick the correct Universal Email server behavior for the message you are sending.

The if statement for this should look like this:

if($_SESSION['OrderShipCountryID'] == 'Deutschland'){
 //Universal Email server behavior 1 goes here
} else {
 //alternate Universal Email server behavior goes here

This is just a basic check of the country id from the session variable, if it is Germany then you should use the regular Universal Email server behavior, or else the country is not Germany and the other Universal Email server behavior should be used. Since the language will be taken care of automatically this check should be all that is needed to ensure that the user receives the correct receipt. Please let me know if this will suffice and if not what the desired result would be based on this implementation.
