I do really like the extensions I have.
But I do agree with your point about "Clearly the How To's were written by coders not customers! "
It does seem that whoever compiles (or trials) the documentation is somehow 'too close' to the subject matter to realize that there are gaping holes in the tutorial processes; I guess he/they fill in the missing bits in their own minds. Many of us can't do that.
I made that point in a proposal here over a week ago which WebAssist have so far failed to acknowledge.
Having said that, the people here do seem to go to great lengths to make sure that any actual problem is eventually finally sorted out, and that one is never left with the problem unresolved.
