tom250037Beta Tester

I am the other Tom that caused the confusion :-) I think I probably misinterpreted the cause of the upload hanging, so I am glad you found it.
Unfortunately, I came down with the flu the day after testing, so I missed being to help, and i apologize.

I am finally getting back to work, and digging out from under a mountain of backed up work.

I did purchase html editor, and will play with it some more

Some of my other comments, like the default root of public_html instead of /, I think are valid, but very minor points.

EDIT: Ah, I see now. It gets the default root from Dreamweaver site settings! Still, it would be nice to be able to edit this in the wizard, instead of having to edit the config file after the fact.

Also, as I mentioned earlier, it would be nice if we could enter the full remote path in the wizard.
I see you are trying to use some code to grab it from the server:

$Config['UserFilesAbsolutePath'] = '' ;
if (isset($_SERVER['APPL_PHYSICAL_PATH'])) {
$Config['UserFilesAbsolutePath'] = str_replace("\\","/",$_SERVER['APPL_PHYSICAL_PATH']) . substr($Config['UserFilesPath'],1);
I think APPL_PHYSICAL_PATH is for windows. I would guess most users host on linux, and you should probably use $_SERVER['DOCUMENT_ROOT'] instead. Or perhaps look to see if $_SERVER['APPL_PHYSICAL_PATH'] or $_SERVER['DOCUMENT_ROOT'] is populated, and use that one that is...
