  What I can share:
1) Use server behaviors not the bindings record set (which I thought it should be)
2) In server behaviors, do the "insert" or "delete" etc before doing main record

Also check your current mysqli files to be sure latest.
rsjobj version 2.55

I can add that a site search for mysql_ should find all references that need to be changed to mysqli_

Have attached the following filkes which I am using having jumped from 5.6 straight to 8.2 - the only fly in the ointment was the installation side of things but if you have already set up a database set up and populated (with the admin login) then if you use the .txt file listed below in the connections folder - please note that reference to the connections file in my files is DBConnection NOT PowerCMSConnection, you would need to update that to whatever you have named your connection file.

WA_CMS/WA_CMS.php
WA_Globals/WA_Globals.php
webassist/mysqli/authentication.php
webassist/mysqli/queryobj.php
webassist/mysqli/rsobj.php
Connections/installed_cms.txt

Hope this helps and please feel free to give me a shout if you need help.
