PayPal Commerce Platform?

Thread began 5/17/2022 1:34 pm by TroyD | Last modified 7/13/2022 11:04 am by TroyD | 300 views | 39 replies

One successful order did come in a few minutes ago, but there has been several "checkout_failure.php" redirects.

For the sake of clarity, that failure page was used in the checkout before, when it was the advanced checkout. We still have that included in the code on the process page.

if ( $json[ "status" ] == "COMPLETED" ) {

    //set sessions and other stuff
    //store data in db
    //send emails
    //redirect to checkout_success.php

} else {
    header( "location: checkout_failure.php" );

On the checkout_failure.php page, I have an email behavior which has the debug code from before.

echo "Full Response: ".(isset($_SESSION["PP_DirectPayment"])?htmlentities($_SESSION["PP_DirectPayment"]):"n/a")."</p>";

echo "<br><br>";
echo "<p style='font-size:14px; color:#333333;'>Express Authorize:<br>";
echo "Full Request: ".(isset($_SESSION["ECO_Auth_Request"])?htmlentities($_SESSION["ECO_Auth_Request"]):"n/a")."<br>";
echo "Full Response: ".(isset($_SESSION["ECO_Auth_Result"])?htmlentities($_SESSION["ECO_Auth_Result"]):"n/a")."</p>";
echo "<br><br>";
echo "<p style='font-size:14px; color:#333333;'>Express Process:<br>";
echo "Full Request: ".(isset($_SESSION["ECO_Process_Request"])?htmlentities($_SESSION["ECO_Process_Request"]):"n/a")."<br>";
echo "Full Response: ".(isset($_SESSION["ECO_Process_Result"])?htmlentities($_SESSION["ECO_Process_Result"]):"n/a")."</p>";

But that no longer works, so I don't know the cause.

I can't seem to recreate the issue, but then again, I don't know if it's a PayPal login type of payment or if it's the direct credit card type of payment that they are using to trigger the failure. Nobody has contacted the office yet, that I know of.

The one successful order that came through used the PayPal login to pay.

I will let you know if I can capture or recreate an error.
