Hi Ray,
Sorry to be so long in coming back. The new Mike was almost as bad as the old so I expect the port card needs replacing.

I had another search through the site and found the problem. It is the mark up for canonicalization.
eg <link rel=“canonical” href=“https://www.boatsforsalenow.com/canal-boats.php” />

I need <link rel=“canonical” href=“https://www.boatsforsalenow.com/canal-boats.php” />
to get to the correct url for a canonical link but of course DW does not like the https and produces an error

If I uploaded the canonical as http:// on a live page then the wrong page is nominated.

So it seems any canonical link should be updated within the FTP editing. Not a lot to ask, just another job.

Alternatively keep the https:// within dreamweaver and ignore the warning error that is prodused when Live is used in Dreamweaver.
"Server Not Found
The page "https://www.localhost/bfsnmysql57/canal-boats.php" was not loaded because Dreamweaver could not find the server "www.localhost". Please make sure you are connected to the internet and the server name is correct".

Any thoughts here Ray?

Regards

John
